Custom-designed for professional live production, underwater events, inspections, research, and filmmaking, the Seavu Explorer+ Pro Kit is a world-first solution — enabling high-performance connectivity from your action camera directly to a TV, monitor, or computer, while delivering uncompressed underwater video and continuous power through a single cable. It opens up workflows previously only possible with broadcast-grade systems.

At the core of the kit is the Seavu Media Cable — a purpose-built, high-grade 15m fibre-optic USB-C cable that supports DisplayPort output while also supplying power to the camera for uninterrupted underwater viewing, recording, and broadcasting.

DisplayPort is a high-performance video output standard that enables direct connection to external displays, such as TVs and monitors, for uncompressed, high-resolution video. While long used in computing, DisplayPort output is a new feature in action cameras — first introduced with the DJI Action 5 Pro in September 2024. The Explorer+ Pro Kit is the world’s first system to harness this capability for underwater use — enabling high-quality live viewing and recording directly from beneath the surface.

To connect to a TV or monitor (via HDMI), simply use the included DisplayPort HDMI Adapter (with PD). Your camera can simultaneously record footage to its internal SD card while outputting live video.

To connect to a computer, an optional video capture card is required. This enables recording or livestreaming in up to 4K resolution using software such as OBS or VLC.

For professional workflows, the HDMI signal can also be connected directly to video switchers (such as the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro) or HDMI to SDI converters (like the Blackmagic Micro Converter) — no capture card required in these setups.

  The Seavu Explorer+ is a professional-grade underwater housing with an integrated USB-C Media Cable, delivering high-quality, hardwired video and continuous power.   The Pole Mount clicks securely into the base of the Explorer housing and is compatible with most standard painter poles. Its adjustable design allows flexible camera positioning, making it easy to capture the perfect angle in any underwater environment.
• Ball Mount with Arm & Claw
  Clicks directly into the base of the Explorer+ housing, providing a complete mounting solution with a 1” Ball Mount, double socket arm, and claw mount. This setup offers smooth 360° adjustment and clamps securely to rails, poles, or frames — ideal for stable, flexible positioning in fixed underwater setups.
• DisplayPort HDMI Adapter (with PD)
  Allows you to connect the DJI Action 5 Pro (via DisplayPort over USB-C) to an external display such as a TV or monitor. It features Power Delivery (PD) passthrough to power the camera while viewing live footage (Requires 45W or higher GaN USB-C charger, not included). Ideal for live underwater monitoring, it offers a simple, high-resolution viewing solution — no computer required.
