Want to view your underwater footage live on a bigger screen? This guide shows you how to connect the Explorer+ Pro Kit to a TV or monitor using the included DisplayPort HDMI Adapter โ no video capture card required.
Plug theย DisplayPort HDMI Adapterย into an available HDMI input on your TV or monitor.
For longer distances, you can use a fibre-optic HDMI extension cable between the adapter and your display device.
Use your TV or monitorโs remote to select the HDMI input you plugged into. The camera feed should appear once the connection is active.
Plug a 30W+ USB-C PD charger into the power input on the DisplayPort HDMI Adapter. This powers the camera and ensures uninterrupted video.
Once connected, your camera will display a prompt asking you to choose between 1080p or 4K output.
Select the resolution that matches your display capabilities.
You can simultaneously record footage directly to your cameraโs SD card while viewing.
Simply press record on your camera before deployment.
If your output resolution is 4K, your internal camera recording will be limited to 1080p.
If your output resolution is 1080p, you can record internally at up to 4K.
