The Seeker DeepScope Rig is a precision built attachment for the Seeker Marine Kit, transforming your existing setup into a stable, hydrodynamic platform for exploring and recording the seafloor in real time. You will need a Seeker Marine Kit to use it, as the rig connects directly to the system to provide live video and control through your action camera.
Its weighted hydroplane design with a streamlined tray and twin stabilising fins provides balanced, controlled movement through the water column, even in light currents.
Built for precise observation while in motion, the DeepScope Rig performs best at towing speeds of up to 3 knots, giving you smooth, detailed footage of reefs, seagrass beds, and marine life from a range of adjustable angles — up, down, front, or back. Add optional Seavu Video Lights to illuminate darker environments and capture clear, professional quality vision at depth.
Compact, lightweight, and made from marine grade, corrosion resistant materials, the DeepScope Rig is compatible with all Seeker Marine Kits and designed for research, environmental monitoring, exploration, and education. Optimum Speed for Capturing and Viewing Footage
For the clearest, most detailed live view and recorded footage, the DeepScope Rig performs best at speeds between 0.5 and 1 knot. At this range, the camera has time to capture fine textures, colours, and subtle movements, revealing the reef and seafloor in high detail.
- Around 0.5 knot (drift): Ideal for live viewing and research, offering the sharpest, most stable picture with minimal disturbance to sediment or marine life.
- Around 1 knot: Perfect for smooth coverage and efficient surveys while maintaining clarity and natural motion in both live feeds and recordings.
Operating at a slower pace lets you take in fine details naturally, making it easier to observe marine life, textures, and habitats in real time with a clear, lifelike perspective.
